Port of Portland – North Runway Extension On-Call Engineering Services
The Port of Portland selected the HNTB/Century West team to perform On-Call Engineering Services for the North Runway Extension project with construction beginning in the summer of 2009.
The extension of the North Runway will allow for large aircraft currently using the South Runway to be rerouted while the South Runway is rehabilitated. The team will assist in-house Port staff with elements of NAV-AID relocation, work area layout, pavement and utility design on an as-needed basis. Our aviation staff is excited about the opportunity to work on this project.
