Century West Projects claim half of the Priority 1 Rural Airport Connect Oregon III funding.

The Oregon State Board of Aviation announced their Recommended Prioritized Rural Airports Projects on Wednesday, August 25th. Six of the twelve projects designated by the Board as Priority 1 are managed by Century West.

Connect Oregon III Grants for rural airports, supplement funds appropriated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for Airport Improvement Projects. The FAA provides 95% of the required funding for select projects leaving the individual Airports responsible for supplying the remaining 5% of project funds. Connect Oregon grants ease the burden on rural airports with little revenue and funding support to raise the additional funding.

Century West prepared the necessary grant paperwork and campaigned for our clients to receive project grants from both the FAA and Connect Oregon III. Our clients received $182,807 of the $371,733 grant dollars available in the Priority 1 tier of the Board’s recommended projects. As a result of these grant awards, these Century West clients will have minimal to zero out of pocket costs associated with their projects.
