Portland International Airport – Central Cargo Ramp (UPS Ramp) PCC Design

Portland, Oregon

Century West assisted the Port of Portland on the design of improvements to the Central Cargo Ramp at Portland International Airport. A portion of the existing AC pavement failed and was replaced with PCC. In addition, a portion of an existing PCC ramp in the cargo area was expanded to allow the staging of more aircraft and larger aircraft. The total ramp area improvement covered 7.5 acres. The ramp accommodates 747’s, 757’s, MD–11’s and other large cargo aircraft.
