New Faces at Century West

The second quarter of 2018 has been a busy one at Century West, and we are excited to introduce our team members!

Josh Van Wie, PE, Project Manager – Spokane Office

Josh recently relocated to our Spokane office from Western Washington where he worked for a firm that specialized in water resources design, planning, and modeling. He previously worked in Texas where he gained significant experience completing site design projects for small commercial and residential developments. A native of Pullman, Washington, Josh decided to make the move back over the Cascades to be closer to family. In his new position at Century West, he is most excited for the opportunity to work with small communities to prepare their capital improvement plans, identify funding, and get projects built.

Rick Nichols, Civil Designer – Bend Office

Rick comes to Century West after several years of working for the Central Oregon Irrigation District (COID) as a project manager and civil designer for capital improvement projects. Rick’s notable experience at COID includes the Cline Falls Dam Demolition and River Restoration project, the North Canal Dam fish ladder, and the Siphon Power Piping project. He has more than 20 years of experience working in Central Oregon and is looking forward to supporting a wide variety of municipal and aviation projects.

Kelsey Parpart, Marketing Manager – Portland Office

Kelsey has nearly 10 years of A/E/C marketing experience related to marketing strategy development and implementation, business development, proposal writing and layout, and marketing team management. She is a Certified Professional Services Marketer and is actively involved with the Society for Marketing Professional Services, Oregon Chapter. Kelsey is passionate about creating and maintaining relationships among consultants, clients, and the community that result in strong local projects.
